The “GREEN X-CHANGE project : Exchanging Good Practices of Youth Entrepreneurship to Promote the Green Transition of Europe in Rural Areas” is a European initiative funded by the Erasmus+ program aimed at supporting youth entrepreneurship and the ecological transition in the rural and suburban areas of various European cities.

The kick-off meeting project, organized by the association Amunì Step by Step, took place in Marsala in October 2024 and hosted partner organizations from Spain and Portugal, Loj Ojos del Jucar and Iroko DSF e Sociedade e Natureza.

The project “Green for Change” aims to promote youth entrepreneurship as a tool to foster sustainable rural development through European cooperation and the use of digital tools.

The project involves young people aged between 18 and 30 from rural and peri-urban areas of Southern Europe with a specific focus on NEET youth.

After an initial fase di ricerca azione to identify beneficiaries and project prerogatives, the young participants engaged in a 14-day European mobilization program, during which they observed field experiences of small and medium enterprises exemplifying good practices. The young people from Marsala traveled to Portugal, while the association Amunì hosted 6 young Spaniards in Marsala.

The project concluded in October 2025 with the organization of an international conference to present the project results.
